Redditch Walks Update

I have updated the Redditch Walks web site due to various changes, which have taken place.  These are:
·         The Yorkshire Bank has closed down, so I now have the start from the Ecumenical Centre, which has affected the text on the five town walks (but not the walks).
·         The Liberal Club/Plough and Harrow has been demolished, so I have had to remove it from Walk T3.
·         I have updated the Bus Links page in line with the latest schedules.
I am hearing a number of rumours concerning the Britten Street, Edward Street area and I it sounds as though I will have to revise this area of walk T2.
However, I have outline ideas on some new walks around the town, which I hope to complete in 2012.

Hello and Welcome!

Welcome to my new Redditch History blog. This is for my two local history sites, www.redditchhistory.com, which covers the general history of the town and www.redditchwalks.com, which has history walks around the area. It is not a blog for the Redditch Local History Society, of which I am a member, which has its own official site and news.

What I want from this blog is to talk about what is happening in the town, what is new on my sites and hear from you in the way of comments, questions and ideas.
